I’m a photographer based in the rural South, working primarily with black and white film. My focus is on everyday scenes—small towns, backroads, and the people and places that often go unnoticed. I’m drawn to what’s weathered, quiet, or in-between, and I try to photograph it without spectacle or pretense.
My process is slow and intentional. I shoot on film, develop it by hand, and make prints in my darkroom. I believe that the imperfections of analog work—the dust, grain, and uneven edges—add something honest to the image. What matters to me is capturing a sense of place, mood, and time. I’m not after nostalgia. I’m after the way things really are, or were, or might still be if you’re paying attention.
